Northwest Energy Region Project Barcamp

On April 13, 2026, the Northwest Metropolitan Region invites all regional stakeholders to the Northwest Energy Region Project Barcamp at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences.

The Barcamp offers participants direct insights into the energy transition in the Northwest. Together, we want to discuss, network, and provide new impetus to actively advance the energy transformation in our region.

The event will focus on sharing info about ongoing projects, research plans, and innovative approaches to the energy transition in the northwest. The aim is to raise awareness of existing activities, exploit synergies, and initiate new collaborations. The open Barcamp format provides the ideal setting for this: it creates space for spontaneous sessions, practical discussions, and creative ideas—from the initial project idea to the formation of new project consortia.
