AI Experience: Hands-On AI

At the AI x Open Lab, visitors can experience artificial intelligence firsthand. Students, apprentices, and anyone interested can look forward to interactive hands-on stations, exciting experiments, and insights into current research and future technologies—right in the ticket hall of the Forum am Domshof.

From August 17 to 22, 2026, the ticket hall at the Forum am Domshof will be transformed into an open learning and experience space focused on artificial intelligence, digitalization, and future technologies.

At the AI x Open Lab, you can expect:

Interactive hands-on stations on AI and digital technologies
Exciting experiments and hands-on activities
Insights into current research and innovations in various professional fields
Opportunities to meet scientists and students
Age-appropriate ways to explore the opportunities and challenges of AI

The visit is free of charge and is suitable for groups of students and apprentices of up to 10 people. Your group is welcome to include one additional chaperone. Secure a visit date for your group now and book directly through the booking system, where you’ll find a suitable time slot. Since space is limited, we ask that you make a binding reservation by June 22, 2026.

Individuals can drop by daily from August 17–22 during the afternoon hours between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM without prior registration.

The AI x Open Lab at Summer of AI is organized by the Digital Impact Lab Bremen in collaboration with the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, the U Bremen Research Alliance, the University of Bremen, and the M2C Institute, with support from Bremen University of Applied Sciences, the HfK Bremen, the Model Region for Industrial Mathematics #MOIN, Fraunhofer MEVIS, the TZI, and other renowned institutes in Bremen.
