At its meeting today (February 14, 2023), the Senate approved the City of Bremen's Commercial Development Program (GEP) 2030. The GEP 2030 serves as the central strategic basis for the development of Bremen's economic areas and provides the basis for a modern economic area policy. At a results forum, the guidelines and development goals of future commercial development, the action strategies required to achieve these goals with the necessary measures and instruments, and important lighthouse projects were publicly presented and discussed.

The current challenges for Bremen's business locations are diverse and complex. These include, in particular, combating the climate crisis and preserving our natural resources.
