What is ICSI EU?
Local businesses, innovation hubs, knowledge institutions, governments all over Europe: we're all different. But we're united by similar challenges. To make us futureproof, working together is vital. That's what ICSI EU wants to encourage. For the next 4 years, 9 partners from 8 different (city-)regions join forces. Together, they will look at existing success stories that foster cross-sectoral innovation. The ultimate goal is to help regional policymakers to re-orient policies to encourage innovation between sector-based networks. Watch the video to understand ICSI EU in less than 2 minutes!
I see, I see… a strategic foresight methodology?
Who needs a crystal ball when you have strategic foresight methodology! This technique will help ICSI EU to look into the future. Unlike crystal balls, strategic foresight doesn't want to actually predict the future. The true aim is to explore different possible outcomes. By envisioning what could be, we can prepare for the accompanying challenges and opportunities. For ICSI EU, our Policy Learning Expert Group (PLEG) explores this fascinating methodology.
